About Me

While formal education has helped guide me and I have a deep commitment to life-long learning, my greatest insight comes from being in relationship with others. It’s never easy, and yet it is always worth the investment. As a mother, wife, friend, and the person you chat with in line at the grocery store, I value what I learn from each interaction and always appreciate a good laugh.

In the therapeutic relationship, you will be heard and seen. In my practice I use a holistic, person-centred approach where together we will build a respectful relationship that allows you to gain new skills, acquire knowledge that helps bring about change, and work toward your personal goals.

I am an empathetic and compassionate Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a Master of Pastoral Studies. I have over 25 years of experience working with adults, children, and youth, in community, child protection, healthcare, and spiritual settings. I have had the privilege of walking with individuals and families through a variety of life transitions including those experiencing trauma, grief, mental health, and end of life.

I love to find creative ways to communicate concepts and ideas, and I bring that into my practice with people of all ages. I believe in the importance of honouring rites of passage and rituals that bring meaning to life.
