Hi, thank you for checking out my website!
I’m guessing if you are looking at this, you or your caregiver have decided it might be helpful to talk to someone about the things that are going on in your life. I get it – you might be nervous, have lots of questions, worry about what happens in counselling, or maybe you’re ready to begin.

When I meet with you, I get you to teach me about the important things and people in your life. You can talk to me about school struggles, relationships with friends and family, feeling anxious or lonely, unexplainable feelings, grief over losing a special person or pet, or not being sure about how to handle situations. You may have something different you want to talk about in counselling.
Together we will find new skills and tools to help you deal with some of these stressors. We might do this by talking, through art, games, movement, digital content or many other creative ways.
Sometimes we will ask your caregiver to be part of our time together. Or maybe we will check in with them at the beginning or end of an appointment. Sometimes we might teach your caregiver ways for them to support you. The goal is to help you and your family feel more confident and connected.
If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer them before we meet or at our first meeting.
